ICC Prosecutor, Fatou Bensouda,Statement in Relation to the Escalating Violence in Libya's Situation
​​As Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC or the Court), I am deeply troubled by the escalating violence in the Situation in Libya. Recent reports of alleged attacks carried out against the civilian population and civilian objects in Tripoli and Benghazi are a cause for great concern. Such deplorable acts of violence must immediately cease.

Security Council Press Statement on Libya 23 July 2014
The members of the Security Council welcomed the announcement of the final results of Libya’s parliamentary elections held on 25 June. They commended the Libyan people and the efforts of the High National Electoral Commission in ensuring their success, despite ongoing security challenges.
